Newfoundland is known for its breathtaking views in all seasons. With a rich history some sites to visit include:
Marble Mountain – the best skiing in Atlantic Canada
Gros Morne National Park (just a 45-minute drive from the resort) – Home of the Tableland Mountains
L'Anse aux Meadows - Viking settlement
Every Outport Along the Way – Each is soaked in history, and friendly locals
Attractions In Newfoundland are seasonal, book accordingly
Moose, Black bears, Pine Martin, Beavers, Caribou - All Spring, Summer & Fall
Icebergs - Icebergs are generally flowing down towards Newfoundland during May & June
Humpback Whales - While whales may be seen all summer long, May, June & early July is optimal
Puffins - Puffins are also here for the bulk of the spring/summer, though they are more likely found close to Labrador or around Bonavista & St. John’s
Salmon Fishing - Salmon fishing is open from June until September
