The Humber River
The Humber river is the namesake of the Humber Valley. It has a rich history of both the fishing and logging industry on the West coast of Newfoundland. Back in the day the loggers would float the cut logs down river to the paper mill located in Corner Brook. While this is no longer practiced, it is a great part of our history.
