Newfoundland and Labrador has approximately 60% of North America’s active salmon rivers and the Humber is one of the top rivers in the world. Our resort is located right on the banks of the Lower Humber River, where fresh fish run on every high tide throughout the summer. The fastest action on the Lower Humber is from mid-June to early August while late July to October is best for pursuing trophy-class fish. So, while staying here, why not try your hand at landing the big one. Casting lessons are available for novices and those who want to improve their technique.

Enjoy a morning, evening or full day of professionally guided fishing on one of our five neighbouring rivers. Trips include fishing equipment, flies, expert guides and powerboat. Price does not include license or transportation. Maximum 2 people per guide. Exclusive guiding available. This is a great way for novices to learn the elements of fly fishing including casting methods, reading the water, fly selection and more.
Chartering a boat is an economical way for the resident angler to enjoy a day fishing on the Lower Humber River. Your rental includes a powerboat and driver but does not include equipment, flies or license. Maximum 2 people per boat (excluding driver).
